This index shows all part numbers contained in the eight
volumes of The Encyclopedia of Connectors. It allows users to quickly ascertain
in which volume an unrecognized part number can be found. Part numbers are
shown abbreviated with enough significant characters to identify them, followed
by their corresponding volume number. Variables such as shell size, insert,
class, etc. are indicated by *.
Note: Dashes in Part Numbers. In addition to its
alphanumeric value, the location of a part number in this index is also
dependent upon the position of its dashes. Dash position of all part numbers
is as defined in manufacturer's catalogs and Military Specifications. If
you cannot find the part number you are seeking, you may be working with
a number that has been transcribed incorrectly with the dashes omitted or
in the wrong place.
The Difference between our Online and Printed Master Index:
The printed Encyclopedia of Connectors Master Index also
contains all of the part numbers, but are presented in a more definitive
form and brief descriptions of each are also included. The examples below
illustrates the differences.
